Cheeseburger in Paradise
Summer isn’t summer without Jimmy Buffet.
His songs, like certain foods (strawberry shortcake, grilled burgers, peaches…) evoke strong seasonal associations for me. I never listen to him in the depths of winter, just like a winter peach tastes terrible.
But I always welcome the summer season by blasting Cheeseburger in Paradise and Margaritaville.
Hmmmm. There’s that food-music association again….
