Summer isn’t summer without Jimmy Buffet.
His songs, like certain foods (strawberry shortcake, grilled burgers, peaches…) evoke strong seasonal associations for me.  I never listen to him in the depths of winter, just like a winter peach tastes terrible.

While meandering through Heathrow Airport’s duty free section waiting for a flight to Berlin, I stumbled across a white-chocolate candy bar flavored with lemon oil and peppercorns.  It hailed from Scotland and was a brand of which I’d never heard:  Kshocolat.
