An Easy Spring-Summer Treat

Balsamic vinegar drizzled over strawberries.  Sublime.

The mahogany-colored vinegar contrasts well with the bright strawberry reds.  Distributed in a pleasing pattern on a light-colored serving dish and dappled with the fragrant dark vinegar, the dish can be a pleasure for the eyes as well as the palate.

I’m not speaking of the colored water often marketed as “balsamic,” by the way.  I’m talking about the real stuff, so read your labels carefully.  And enjoy.
