Salami, Salumi, Salumiere: Food Fiction

“Salumi” is the Italian equivalent of the French “charcuterie”—a branch of cooking devoted to prepared meat products, primarily pork products.  “Salumi” is not a misspelling of “salami.”  Salami is a type of salumi.
